The new Rope Grab has been designed to allow a user complete ease when ascending and descending a vertical rope, whilst still providing optimum safety.

Easy and simple to install
Simply remove the detent pin, open the hinge and place the rope grab on the 16mm lifeline. Close the hinged gate and re-insert the detent pin. The rope grab is now fixed to the lifeline. Then simply connect your shock absorbing lanyard to both your rear D ring and the rope grab.

Easy and simple to use.
The rope grab travels freely up and down the rope with the user, without the need to manually reposition the rope grab.The Rope Grab utilises a double locking inertia and cam mechanism which offers greater safety and eliminates ‘panic-grab’ situations.

• Allow user to connect and disconnect at any point along the line.
• Double Action locking mechanism for ultimate user safety.
• For use with 16mm thick rope.
• Provides maximum freedom of movement when ascending and descending and whilst working off the line.

YLA-10 Rope Grab
A small and compact rope grab mechanism, ideal for use as protection for a temporary ladder or as a back up for window cleaning and facade maintenance when used in conjunction with a hoist.

The mechanism features a secure double action mechanism which prevents accidental opening.

YLA10R - 16mm Nylon Rope
Our 16mm diameter nylon 3 strand rope is tough, durable and has a high level of energy absorbance and is available in a variety of lengths.

The YLA10R is supplied with a hard eye one end and a back splice at the other.
